Love means understanding each other. This love doesn't seem to have any meaning if I don't understand the person I love.

I think it's a lot bigger to understand a man of love than to always say love with love. Love survives based on mutual trust. There is no love in love that lacks faith, there is only Sociality.

ভালোবাসা মানে পরস্পরকে বুঝতে পারা। আমি যে মানুষটিকে ভালোবাসব তাকে যদি না বুঝতে পারি তাহলে এই প্রেমের কোনো অর্থ আছে বলে মনে হয় না।

মুখে মুখে সবসময় ভালোবাসি ভালোবাসি বলার চেয়ে আমার মনে হয় ভালোবাসার মানুষটাকে বুঝতে পারা অনেক বড় ব্যাপার। ভালোবাসা বেঁচে থাকে পরস্পরের বিশ্বাসের উপর ভিত্তি করে। যে প্রেমে বিশ্বাসের ঘাটতি দেখা দেয় সেখানে প্রেম থাকে না, থাকে শুধু সামাজিকতা।

যে কোন কাউকে ভালোবাসা যায়। ভালোবাসা অনেক পবিত্র একটি অনুভূতি। স্বার্থ সিদ্ধির জন্য প্রেম করা উচিত নয়। প্রেম হচ্ছে পৃথিবীর মধুরতম সম্পর্ক যেখানে থাকবে না কোনো চাওয়া-পাওয়া, থাকবে না কোনো স্বার্থ, থাকবে শুধুই ভালোবাসা।

নিজে অসুখী হয়ে অন্যকে ভালোবেসে সুখী করা যায় না। কেউ আপনার জীবনে সুখ এনে দেবে ভেবে কারো সাথে প্রেমে জড়াবেন না। বরং আপনি কারো জীবনে সুখ এনে দেবেন ভেবে প্রেম করুন।

ভালোবাসা কোন লেনদেনের বস্তু নয়। আপনি যদি ভালোবাসা দেওয়ার চেয়ে ভালোবাসা পাওয়াতে বেশি সুখ পান, তাহলে আপনি এখনো ভালোবাসার গভীরে যেতে পারেননি। গভীর ভালোবেসে যে সুখ পাওয়া যায় তার সাথে অন্য কোনো সুখের তুলনা চলেনা। কারণ এই ভালোবাসায় প্রবিত্রতা আছে।

ভালোবাসার সাথে প্রত্যাশার কোনো সম্পর্ক নাই। সত্যিকারের ভালোবাসা শুধু ভালোবাসার মানুষটিকে সুখী করতে চায়, তার থেকে কোনো প্রতিদান আশা করে না। প্রত্যাশার চাপ ধীরে ধীবে ভালোবাসাকে মেরে ফেলে। আপনার ভালোবাসার মানুষটি আপনার প্রত্যাশা পূরণের মেশিন নয়।

সত্যিকারের ভালোবাসা মানুষকে মুক্ত করে, বেঁধে ফেলে না। ভালোবাসা আফিমের মতো, লোহার শিকল নয়। আপনার ভালোবাসার মানুষ খুব সম্ভবত আপনার কাছে ফিরে আসবে যদি আপনি তাকে মুক্ত করে দেন। লোহার শিকল দিয়ে ভালোবাসার মানুষকে আটকে রাখার চেষ্টা করলে তার ফল ভালো হয় না। যেমনঃ পাখি খাঁচা ভেঙ্গে উড়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করবে। তেমনি মানুষকে শেকল পরানোর চেয়ে মুক্ত করে দেয়া ভালো।

ভালবাসা মানে কাউকে জয় করা নয় বরং নিজেই কারো জন্য হেরে যাওয়া। এটা জ্ঞানের গভীরতা দিয়ে হয়না, হয় হৃদয় এর পবিত্রতা দিয়ে। পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বেশি উচ্চারিত এবং আলোচিত শব্দ “ভালবাসা। এই ভালোবাসা কখনও কাঁদায়, কখন হাসায়, কেউ এর জন্য আত্মবিসর্জন দেয়। মানুষ কত ত্যাগ স্বীকার করে ভালোবাসার মানুষকে পাবার জন্য। আবার এই ভালবাসার জন্য মূল্যবান অনেক কিছুই হারায় যার জন্য বিন্দুমাত্র আফসোস ও কখনো হয় না।

আসলে আমাদের মানব মন খুব ই অস্থির এক জিনিস সে যে কি চাই সে আসলে নিজেও জানে না। আবার সব কিছু জেনে শুনেও এই মন ভুল পথে পা বাড়ায়। বিবেক তখন তাকে অজস্র বার নিষেধ করে। এই বিবেক ও মনের যুদ্ধে, সব সময় মনেরই জয় হয়। আর তখনি একজন মানুষ ভালবাসা অনুভব করতে পারে এবং ভালোবাসার মূল্য দিতে পারে আর এই জন্যেই পৃথিবী এত সুন্দর। তা না হলে তো পৃথিবীর সব মানুষ রোবট হয়ে যেত।

ভালোবাসাকে শুধু বয়ফ্রেন্ড-গার্লফ্রেন্ডের মধ্যেকার সম্পর্ক মনে করে ভালোবাসা নামক পবিত্র নামটাকে অপমানিত করবেন না। ভালোবাসার পরিধি মহাবিশ্বের মতোই বিশাল। ‘ভালোবাসা’ নামক বস্তুটিতে যতটা আত্মতৃপ্তি পাওয়া যায়, তা আর অন্য কোথাও পাওয়া সম্ভব নয়। আর এই আত্মতৃপ্তির পরিপূর্ণ স্বাদ আপনি তখনই পাবেন, যখন এই মহাবিশ্বের স্রষ্টা ও তার সৃষ্টিকে আপনি নিঃস্বার্থভাবে মনঃপ্রাণ দিয়ে ভালোবাসতে পারবেন।

আপনি কখনই পারবেন না অন্য কারও ভালোবাসাকে ছিনিয়ে নিতে কিংবা জোর করে অন্যের ভালো লাগার মানুষ হতে। বরং আপনি যেটা পারবেন তা হল নিজেকে এমন ভাবে তৈরি করতে যাতে যে কেউ আপনার ব্যাবহারে মুগ্ধ হয়ে আপনাকে পছন্দ করতে শুরু করে।

আপনি যতোই ভাবুন না কেন যে- অন্যের জন্য আপনি কিছু করছেন কিংবা করে যাচ্ছেন, অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রেই সেই মানুষগুলো তা বুঝতে পারবে না। তাই বরঞ্চ উচিত হবে তাদের থেকে কোন কিছুর আশা না করা; নইলে আপনাকে দুঃখ পেতে হবে।

বিশ্বস্ততা অর্জন করতে হলে আপনাকে অনেক বছরের সাধনা করতে হবে, অথচ মাত্র এক সেকেন্ডের ব্যবধানে আপনার উপর থেকে সমস্ত বিশ্বাস উঠে যেতে পারে। সুতরাং বুঝে শুনে চলাই মঙ্গল।

জীবনে আপনি কি কি পেয়েছেন তা আপনি হামেশাই ভুলে যাবেন, কিন্তু কি কি হারিয়েছেন তা বারেবারে মনে পড়ে আপনার মনকে ক্ষত বিক্ষত করবে। সুতরাং সবসময় অতীতের ভালো দিকগুলো মনে করবেন, খারাপ কিছু ভেবে নিজেকে অযথা কষ্ট দিবেন না।

চোখের সামনে যাদেরকে দেখছেন তাদেরকে আগামিকাল সকালবেলা আর দেখতে পাবেন কিনা তার কোনও নিশ্চয়তা নেই। তাই কারো সাথে দ্বন্দ্ব থাকলে শেষ বিদায় হয়ে যাবার আগেই সম্পর্কটা সুন্দর করে নিন। যা কিছু হয়েছে তা ভুলে যান। শুধু মানুষকে নিঃস্বার্থভাবে ভালোবাসুন। দেখবেন আপনার নিজের অজান্তেই আশপাশের মানুষগুলো আপনাকে ভালোবাসতে শুরু করেছে।

ভালোবাসা হচ্ছে এমন যখন কেউ আপনার হৃদয় ভেঙ্গে দেয়। আর সবচেয়ে আবাক বিষয় হচ্চে, আপনি সেই হৃদয়ের প্রতিটি ভাঙ্গা টুকরো দিয়ে তাকে ভালবাসেন। কেউ তোমাকে পছন্দ করবে এই আশায় নিজেকে পরিবর্তন করে ফেলো না। তুমি যেমন আছ তেমনই থাকার চেষ্টা করো, যে তোমাকে সত্যিকার অর্থেই ভালবাসবে সে সত্যিকারের তোমাকেই ভালবাসবে।

  

ভালোবাসার জন্য কালের প্রয়োজন নেই, একটি মুহুর্তই যথেষ্ট। একজন প্রকৃত প্রেমিক শত শত মেয়েকে ভালবাসে না, বরং সে একটি মেয়েকেই শত উপায়ে ভালোবেসে থাকে। পৃথিবীতে ভালোবাসা না পেয়ে হয়ত বেঁচে থাকা যায়, কিন্তু ভালো না বেসে বোধকরি বেঁচে থাকা যায় না।

আবেগের বশীভূত হয়ে ভালোবাসার জন্য জীবনটা শেষ করে দেয়ার অর্থ- ভালোবাসার মানুষের পাশাপাশি আপনজনদেরকে সারাজীবনের জন্য হারানো, সেইসঙ্গে ভালোবাসার মানুষকে অপরাধী বানিয়ে চলে যাওয়া। প্রেমে ব্যর্থ হয়ে নিজেকে বিসর্জন দেয়ার নাম জীবন নয়, তার জন্য লড়াই করে নিজেকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করার নাম জীবন।

খুব তুচ্ছ কারনে যে কারো প্রতি ভালো লাগা তৈরি হতে পারে। কোন মেয়ের ভূবন ভুলানো হাসি দেখে এক মুহুর্তেই তাকে ভালো লেগে যেতে পারে। কিংবা রাস্তায় চলতে ফিরতে সুন্দরী কোন মেয়েকে এক পলক দেখেই যে কোন ছেলের হার্টবিট মিস হয়ে যেতে পারে। অথবা কোন ছেলে খুব সুন্দর করে গুছিয়ে কথা বলে, কিংবা গিটার বাজিয়ে, গান শুনিয়ে কোন মেয়েকে মুগ্ধ করে দিতে পারে। আর তাতে ছেলেটার প্রতি মেয়েটার এক ধরনের অনুভূতি তৈরি হয়। এই অনুভূতিগুলোকে আসলে ভালো লাগা বলে। ভালোবাসা নয়। ভালোবাসা এত সহজে হয়না। একজন মানুষের জন্য ভালোবাসা তৈরী হয় খুব ধীরে ধীরে।

চাইলেই যে কাউকে ভালোবাসা যায়না। চাইলেই যে কাউকে ভালোবাসি বলা যায়না। চাইলেই সব ছেড়ে ছুঁড়ে কেউ একজনের হাত ধরে দূরে কোথাও পালিয়ে যেতে ইচ্ছে করেনা। চাইলেই কেউ একজনের জন্য পুরো পৃথিবীর বিপক্ষে চলে যাওয়া যায়না। সেই কেউ একজন টা খুব স্পেশাল একজন মানুষ হয়। যাকে শুধু ভালোবাসাই যায়। চোখ বন্ধ করে যার উপর নির্ভর করা যায়।

ভালোবাসার যে অনুভূতি খুব তাড়াতাড়ি তৈরি হয় তা হারিয়েও যায় খুব দ্রুত। অনুভূতি হারিয়ে গেলে সে মানুষটাও কিছু না বলে চুপি চুপি আপনার জীবন থেকে হারিয়ে যায়। তখন বুঝতে হবে আপনার প্রতি তার কখনো ভালোবাসা ছিল না। যা ছিল তার পুরোটাই ছিল ভালো লাগা। কারন যাকে ভালোবাসা যায় হুট করে রাস্তার মাঝখানে তার হাত ছেড়ে দিয়ে দূরে চলে যাওয়া যায়না। বেশিরভাগ মানুষই ভালো লাগা এবং ভালোবাসার মধ্যে পার্থক্য বের করতে পারেনা। আর তাইতো অভিমানী মেয়েটা আজও প্রতীক্ষা করে। নির্ঘুম রাতে বিছানায় শুয়ে ছটফট করে। আর তাইতো বোকা ছেলেটা অক্সিজেনের বদলে বুক ভরে নিকোটিন নেয়। রাত গভীর হলে মেয়েটার নাম্বার বন্ধ জেনেও সে নাম্বারে বার বার ফোন করে অস্থির সময় কাটায় ভালবাসা হল,বিসর্জন,নিজেকে বিলিয়ে দেয়া,উজার করে দেয়া কারু জন্যে ।

ভালবাসা হলো, মনের মাঝে কারু ছবি একে রাখা,তার যত্ন করা, তাকে মূল্যায়ন করা, তার সম্মান রক্ষা করা,ভালবেসে যাওয়া । ভালবাসা হল,বেচে থাকার আশায় বেচে থাকা,যে বেচে থাকার আশা জাগায় তাকেই ভালবাসা, তার কাছেই নিজেকে সপে দেয়া। ভালবাসা কোন ওয়াদা রক্ষা নয় । ভালবাসা হল,কারু প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত থাকা । শুধু তাকেই ভালবাসি,এ বিশ্বাসেই তার হাতটা ধরা । তাকে নিয়ে স্বপ্ন দেখা নয়,তার স্বপ্ন গুলোকে পুরন করা । মাইলের পর মাইল এক সাথে হাটে যাওয়া, কিংবা ঘণ্টার পর ঘন্টা কারু জন্যে আপেক্ষার নাম ভালবাসা নয় । ভালবাসা হল, হৃদয়ের সাথে মিশে থাকা, কারু অস্তিত্তের উপস্থিতি নিজের মাঝে ধারন করা । নিঃশ্বাসে নিঃশ্বাসে শুধু তাকেই অনুভব করা, তার ছোট থেকে ছোট চাওয়া গুলো, পুরন করার আস্থিরতা, তার ভালমন্দ সবখানেই নিজেকে খুজে পাওয়া ।

ভালবাসা হল, কাউকে দেখার ইচ্ছাই, মনটা ব্যাকুল হয়ে উঠা, তার ভাবনাই জেগে থাকা, নিজের সুখটাকে তার মাঝেই বিলিয়ে দিয়ে একটুখানি হাসি এটে দেয়া আর সব থেকে বড় কথা ভালবাসা হল, সারাটা জীবন তার পাসে থাকা।

সর্বপরি সবার প্রেম সফলও হয় না। প্রেমে ব্যর্থ হলে নিজের জীবন নষ্ট করে দেয়ার মানে নেই। আবেগকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে বাস্তবতাকে মেনে নিতে শিখতে হবে। পৃথিবীতে প্রেম অল্পতেই শেষ হয় না। প্রেম জীবনে একবারও আসে না। প্রেম জীবনে বহুবার বহুরুপে আসে।

তুমি যদি ভালবাসো মন থেকে যেখানে থাকেনা দৈহিক চাহিদা প্রথম শর্ত, যেখানে ভালবাসার ভবিষ্যত নির্ভর করে না লাভ ক্ষতির হিসেবের উপর সেখানে ভালবাসা কোন ভাবেই শুধু সময়ের উপর নির্ভর করতে পারেনা। মিথ্যে সার্থে ভরা তিন বছরের ভালবাসাও অর্থহীন তিন দিনের সত্যিকার ভালবাসার কাছে।

ভালবাসা ভালবাসাই এবং এর অনুভুতি সবসময়ের জন্য একই । সময় এখানে একমাএ অথবা প্রধান কারন নয়। বাস্তবতার বেড়াজালে যখন ভালবাসার মানুষ দুজন একে অন্য থেকে হয় বিচ্ছিন্ন, যখন মনের হাজার ইচ্ছাও দুটি মানুষকে রাখতে পারেনা কাছাকাছি তখন কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে তীব্র বেদনার তৈরী হয়। কন্তু এই বেদনাটাকে যদি আমরা বিশ্লেষন করি তাহলে কি দেখতে পাই? দেখতে পাই যে তারা একজন আর একজনকে খুব মিস করতেছে, মিস করতেছে তাদের হাসি,কান্না,খুনসুটি। হয়ত তারা চোখও মোছে মনের মানুষের কথা ভেবে। আবার তাদের নির্মল আনন্দের উপলক্ষ্য এই কষ্টময় বেদনাটুকুই। তারা এটা ভেবে খুশি হয় যে তার ভালবাসার মানুষটি তাকে কত মিস করতেছে, তাকে নিয়ে কত ভাবতেছে, তার জন্য কথা জমিয়ে রাখতেছে। তারা ভেবে খুবই পুলকিত হয় যে তারা একজন আরএকজনকে কত ভালবাসে।

সত্যি বেদনাও মানুষকে আনন্দ দিতে পারে, দিতে পারে মনের মানুষকে নিয়ে গর্ব করার সুখময় সুযোগ। আর এই আনন্দই দুটি মানুষকে করে আরো রঙ্গিন, ভালবাসা করে আরো পরিণত।

ভালোবাসা মানে সম্পর্ক, মানুষে মানুষে বিশ্বাসের ভিত্তি। ভালোবাসার অনেক রূপ। যেমন ভাই-বোনের ভালোবাসা, বাবা-মায়ের ভালোবাসা। পরিবারে একটা পশুর প্রতিও ভালোবাসা হতে পারে। যেমন অনেকে কুকুর পোষে, বিড়াল পোষে, অ্যাকুরিয়ামে মাছ রাখে, পাখিকে কথা বলতে শেখায়। এ সবকিছুই ভালোবাসার বহিঃপ্রকাশ। কেউ কেউ ভালোবাসা থেকে গাছ লাগায়, গাছের পরিচর্যা করে। মানুষের প্রতি গাছের ভালোবাসা আছে কিনা জানি না। হয়তো আছে।একটার পাশে গিয়ে তুমি পরিচর্যা করছ, খোঁজ নিচ্ছ দেখবে সেটি তাড়াতাড়ি বড় হয়ে উঠছে। অন্যটির কোনো খোঁজ নাওনি। তাই সে বেড়ে উঠছে না। এটা কিন্তু পরীক্ষিত। এর থেকেই বোঝা যায় গাছেরও অনুভূতি আছে।

ভালোবাসা শুধু নর-নারীর প্রেমের মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। মানুষের সঙ্গে মানুষের সম্পর্কের মধ্যেই ভালোবাসার প্রকাশ ঘটে। একজন রাজনীতিবিদকে মানুষ ভালোবাসে। তাকে হয়তো সামনাসামনি কোনোদিন দেখেওনি। তবুও ভালোবাসে। কেন? শ্রদ্ধাবোধ থেকে ! একেকজনের ভালোবাসার বহিঃপ্রকাশ তো একেক রকম। কারওটা সফট। কারও বেলায় খুবই অ্যাংরি। কারওটা কখনও কখনও স্বেচ্ছাচারিতার পর্যায়েও পড়ে। সে অধিকার খাটায়।

ভালোবাসার ঘনত্ব বেশি হলেই সেটাকে প্রেম বলা যায়। উদাহরণ দিয়ে বলি। একটি মেয়েকে আমার ভালো লাগে, তাকে ভালোবাসি। এই অনুভূতি যখন গাঢ় হয় তখন সেটাকে প্রেম বলা যেতে পারে।

নোটঃ পৃথিবীর শুরু থেকে ভালোবাসা ছিল, আছে এবং থাকবে। তবে আমাদের মনে রাখতে হবে ভালোবাসার প্রধান ঔষধ হলো একে অন্যের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখা এবং যে নিজেকে ভালোবাসে না সে অন্যকে ভালোবাসতে পারে না।
