New Chapter of Bangladesh Train

The point of the article is that passengers should be as responsible as in this picture. Authorities will never sell more tickets than the allotted seats but no one should get up without a ticket as the seat is empty and this is the responsibility of each passenger. Hopefully all the trains will run like this. The people of Bangladesh are starting the train journey with the experience of a different environment.

The train journey of passengers started in a different environment in Chittagong. There was no commotion at the time of entering Chittagong railway station. I had to enter the station at a distance of three (03) meters. Face masks, everyone's hands had to be cleaned with hand sanitizer while getting on the train. Above is a picture of the passengers of the Subarna Express train on Sunday (May 31) at 8 am. The train left for Dhaka just in time.

As seen at the station, every bogie on the Subarna Express train is clean-cut. Disinfectant has been sprayed all over the train. The washroom has hand sanitizer, tissue and water facilities. The train crew all wore gloves and masks. It is as if a different environment has been created in Bangladesh. Passengers have also been seen to be satisfied with such management and the hope of the passengers is that such tidiness will always remain.

Passengers started arriving an hour before the train left at 8 am. GRP police and RNB members did not allow anyone to gather until they boarded the train from the station. One person has been seated in a two-seater train. Which will play a helpful role in preventing the spread of corona.

Rakib Hasan, a passenger of the Subarna Express train, said, "I am happy with the management of the railway." They have confirmed the issue of health protection. As well as one sitting in two seats, the atmosphere inside the train was excellent.

Railway station manager Ratan Kumar Chowdhury said 387 of the 454 seats in the Subarna Express train were sold. The train with these 387 passengers left for Dhaka on time. Similarly, Sonar Bangla will leave at 5 pm and Udayan will leave Chittagong at 10.30 pm.

Note: Trains in Bangladesh are becoming more and more popular among the conventional vehicles. There are many reasons to be popular such as: no jam, it takes less time to reach the destination, etc. However, there are many irregularities in train management that need to be addressed. Then this will be on the list of the main and first choice of the people of Bangladesh.

বাংলাদেশের ট্রেনের নতুন অধ্যায়

লেখাটির উদ্দেশ্য হলো, যাত্রীদেরকে এই ছবির মত দায়িত্বশীল হয়ে থাকতে হবে। কর্তৃপক্ষ কখনোই নির্ধারিত আসনের চেয়ে বেশী টিকিট বিক্রি করবেনা কিন্তু সীট ফাঁকা আছে মনে করে বিনা টিকিটে যেন কেউ উঠে না বসি এবং এই কাজটি প্রত্যেক যাত্রীর নিজ নিজ দায়িত্ব। আশাকরি সব ট্রেনগুলো এভাবেই চলবে। সে এক ভিন্ন পরিবেশের অভিজ্ঞতায় ট্রেন যাত্রা শুরু করছে বাংলাদেশের মানুষ।

কৃতজ্ঞতা ও ভালোবাসা মাহাবুব কবির মিলন স্যারের প্রতি আসলে এই সোনার মানুষেরা যেখানে থাকবে সেখানেই সোনা ফলবে। এই মানুষগুলো আছে বলেই এখনো সোনার বাংলার স্বপ্ন দেখি। মহান আল্লাহ্ তাঁদের সবসময় সুস্থতা ও দীর্ঘায়ু দান করুক এবং আরো বেশী বেশী পরিবর্তনের আলো নিয়ে আসার তৌফিক দান করুক (আমিন)।

চট্টগ্রামে ভিন্ন পরিবেশে যাত্রীদের ট্রেন যাত্রা শুরু হলো। চট্টগ্রাম রেলওয়ে স্টেশনে ঢোকার সময় ছিলো না কোনো জটলা। তিন (০৩) মিটার দূরত্ব মেনে ঢুকতে হয়েছে স্টেশনে। মুখে মাস্ক, ট্রেনে ওঠার সময় প্রত্যেকের হাত হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার দিয়ে পরিষ্কার করতে হয়েছে। উপরের চিত্র রোববার (৩১ মে) সকাল ৭টার সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনের যাত্রীদের। ট্রেনটি ঠিক সময়ে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে ছেড়ে গেছে।

স্টেশনে দেখা গিয়েছে, সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনে প্রত্যেকটি বগি পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন। জীবাণুনাশক স্প্রে করা হয়েছে পুরো ট্রেনে। ওয়াশরুমে রাখা হয়েছে হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার, টিস্যু ও পানির সুব্যবস্থা আছে। ট্রেনের কর্মচারীরা সবাই হাতে গ্লাভস, মুখে মাস্ক পড়েছেন। এ যেন অন্যরকম পরিবেশ বাংলাদেশে সৃষ্ঠি হয়েছে। এমন ব্যবস্থাপনায় যাত্রীরাও সন্তুষ্ট হতে দেখা গেছে এবং যাত্রীদের আশা এই রকম পরিপাটি যেনো সবসময় থাকে।

সকাল ৭টায় ট্রেন ছাড়ার এক ঘণ্টা আগে যাত্রীরা আসতে শুরু করেন। স্টেশন থেকে ট্রেনে ওঠার আগ পর্যন্ত কাউকে জটলা করতে দেয়নি জিআরপি পুলিশ ও আরএনবির সদস্যরা। ট্রেনে দুজনের সিটে একজনকে বসানো হয়েছে। যা করোনা বিস্তার রোধে সহায়ক ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনের যাত্রী রাকিব হাসান নামে একজন বলেন, রেলওয়ের এমন ব্যবস্থাপনায় আমি খুশি। তারা স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। পাশাপাশি দুটি সিটে একজন বসেছেন, ট্রেনের ভেতর পরিবেশ ছিলো চমৎকার।

রেলওয়ে স্টেশন ম্যানেজার রতন কুমার চৌধুরী জানান, সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনে ৪৫৪ সিটের মধ্যে বিক্রি হয়েছে ৩৮৭টি। এই ৩৮৭ জন যাত্রী নিয়ে ট্রেনটি ঠিক সময়ে ঢাকার উদ্দেশ্যে ছেড়ে যায়। একইভাবে বিকেল ৫ টায় সোনার বাংলা ও রাত সাড়ে ১০ টায় উদয়ন চট্টগ্রাম ছেড়ে যাবে।

নোটঃ প্রচলিত যানবাহন গুলোর মধ্যে যাত্রার জন্য প্রতিনিয়ত জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠছে বাংলাদেশের ট্রেন। জনপ্রিয় হওয়ার অনেক কারণ রয়েছে যেমনঃ জ্যাম নাই, সময় কম লাগে গন্তব্যে পৌছাতে ইত্যাদি। তবে ট্রেন ব্যবস্থাপনায় অনেক অনিয়ম রয়েছে তা দুর করতে হবে। তাহলে এই বাংলাদেশের মানুষের যাতায়াতের প্রধান ও প্রথক পছন্দের তালিকায় থাকবে।
