অবশেষে অবন্তী বিবাহ করিল…

বাবা মা, আত্মীয় স্বজন, বন্ধু বান্ধব, পাড়া প্রতিবেশী কেহই শেষ পর্যন্ত অবন্তীর সহিত পারিয়া উঠিল না। অবন্তীর জেদ আর গোঁয়ার্তুমির সামনে সকল আবেদন নিস্ফল আবেদন রূপে মুখ থুবড়াইয়া পড়িল। সময়ের সাথে সাথে অবন্তীর মা দুরাগ্য ব্যাধির সাথে লড়িতে লড়িতে একসময় পরলোকগমন করিলেন। আবারো নতুন করে সকলে অবন্তীকে বোঝাইতে লাগিল। কিন্তু অবন্তী প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ যে সে কোনমতেই বিবাহ করিবেনা। সে উমুক্ত ষাঁড়িনী হিসেবে দুনিয়া বিচরণ করিতে চাই। কেহ তাকে শাসন বারন করিতে পারিবেনা, কারো কাছে তাকে জবাবদিহিতা করিতে হইবেনা। এখন যে পিতার রাজ্যে বসিয়া সে শাঁ শাঁ শব্দে চাবুক ঘুরাইতেছে তাহা সে আমৃত্যু জারি রাখিতে চাই।

আসলে গত কয়েক বছর সমাজ হতে বিচ্ছিন্ন থাকিয়া অবন্তী ফেসবুকের বিভিন্ন নারীবাদী আর পুরুষ বিদ্বেষী প্রবন্ধ পড়িয়া পড়িয়া নিজেকে এক জ্বলামুখি তে পরিনত করিয়াছে। বিবাহ, সংসার তার চোখে এখন পরাধীনতার শৃঙ্খলে আবদ্ধ বন্দীশালা।

এই সমাজের সকল পুরুষ তাহার চোখে ওঁত পেতে বসে থাকা সুযোগ সন্ধানী খেঁক শিয়াল এর মত যদিও বর্তমানে সে তার নিজ জীবনে দুইজন নিরীহ পুরুষ; একজন বাবা আর একজন ভাই এর উপর ভর করিয়া জীবন যাপন করিতেছে। কিন্তু এরা দুজন পুরুষ হইলেও নিরীহ, অবন্তীকে শাসন বারন করিবার ক্ষমতা তাহাদের নেই। সুতুরাং অবন্তীর চোখে তাহারা শিয়াল পুরুষ নয়, নিরীহ পুরুষ। মাঝে মাঝে সমাজের অন্যদের সাজানো গোছানো সংসার, নাদুস নুদুস বাচ্চা কাচ্চা দেখিয়া অবন্তীরও সংসার করিতে শখ জাগিত।

সেই শখের বশে সে নিজের বাবা, পরিবার, সমাজকে আড়াল করিয়া গোপনে এক নিরীহ পুরুষের সাথে খানিকটা ভাব ও জমাইয়া ছিল। কিন্তু তার চলমান স্বার্থপরতা, স্বেচ্ছাচারিতা, অসামাজকিতা,  গোঁয়ার্তুমি, বেয়াদবি, আর আমিত্ব ভাবের নিপীড়নে নির্যাতিত হইয়া সেই নিরীহ পুরুষ ও প্রতিবাদি হইয়া উঠিল এবং নীরবে অবন্তী কে পরিত্যাগ করিয়া নিজ জীবনে ফিরিয়া গেল। অবন্তী আরও জ্বলিয়া পুড়িয়া কঠিন শিলাতে পরিনত হইলো।

অনেকেই অবন্তীকে বোঝানোর চেষ্টা করিল যে সে একটা মেয়ে এবং তাহার বয়স ৩০ অতিক্রম করিয়াছে। সে নিজেও কোন আয় রোজগার করেনা। সে যেন এভাবে তাহার জীবনটা নষ্ট না করে। কিন্তু বরাবরের মত সকলের সকল অনুরোধই ব্যারথতায় পর্যবসিত হইল। তাহার মতে তাহার বাবা মার অনেক অনেক ধন সম্পদ রহিয়াছে যা সে বসিয়া বসিয়া পিঁপড়ার মত কুটুস কুটুস করিয়া আমৃত্যু খাইবে। সে কেন মনিবের স্থান ত্যাগ করিয়া গোলাম এ পরিনত হইবে!!! অনেক মানুষই তাহার এইরকম অসামাজিক আচরণে বিরক্ত হইয়া তাহার সাথে দূরত্ব বাড়াইয়া দিল। কিন্তু অবন্তী তাহার একনায়ক ত্রন্তের সিংহাসন আঁকড়ায়ে ধরিয়াই পড়িয়া থাকিল।

কালের বিবর্তনে একসময় অবন্তীর পিতা ও পরলোকগমন করিলেন। ভাই ব্যাতিত তাহার আর আপনজন কেহ রহিল না এই দুনিয়ায়।  নিজে বিবাহ না করলেও অবন্ত তাহার একমাত্র ভাইয়ের বিবাহ নিয়া খুব উৎসুক ছিল এবং দেখেশুনে সে তাহার ভাইয়ের বিবাহ করাইয়া বাড়িতে একটা লাল টুকটুক বউ নিয়া আসিল। কিছুদিন পর অবন্তী লক্ষ্য করিল যে তাহার ভাই যতটা নিরীহ, তাহার বউ ততটাই দুরূহ। পরিস্থিতি এমন এক পর্যায়ে আসিয়া পড়িল যে এক বনে দুই বাঘ রাজা হইতে পারেনা আর এক রাজ্যে দুই রাজার ফরমানি চলিতে পারেনা।

অবশেষে বাধ্য হইয়া অবন্তী তাহার ভাইকে ত্যাগ করিয়া নিজে নিজে একটা রাজত্ব বানাইয়া বসবাস করিতে লাগিল। কিন্তু বাধ সাধিল এই সমাজের লোকে। সবাই ভাবিল যে সেতো রাজ্যের রাণী যার একটা রাজা দরকার। সমাজের বকাটে সম্প্রদায় তাহাকে কল্পনায় আল্পনায় নিজের বউ ভাবিতে লাগল। ভাবখানা এমন যে যার নিদিষ্ট কোন স্বামী নাই, সবাই তাহার স্বামী। দিনে দুপুরে, রাত বিরাতে সেই বকাটে সম্প্রদায়ের কেহ কেহ অবন্তীর একেলা রাজ্যে রাতের অন্ধকারে হানা দিতে লাগিল। অবন্তী বাধ্য হইয়া সমাজের কিছু পুরুষ এবং আইন আদালতের দ্বারস্থ হইলো। কিন্তু সেখানেও বিপত্তি ঘটিল। সেখানেও কিছু শেয়াল প্রকৃতির পুরুষ ছিল যারা অবন্তীকে কিছু পাইতে হলে, কিছু দিতে হয় নীতিতে অভ্যাস্ত করিবার চেষ্টা করিল।

অবন্তীর রাজ্যে ঘোর অন্ধকার নামিয়া আসিল। দিন কি রাত… সবখানেই সে ক্ষুধার্ত খেঁক শিয়াল উপলব্ধি করিতে লাগিল। সে বুঝিল যে ধন সম্পদ এর পাশাপাশি, তাহার মাথার উপর একটা ছাতা প্রয়োজন, একটা সমাজ স্বীকৃত ঠাই প্রয়োজন। সে সবার না একজনের স্ত্রী হতে চাই। সে ধর্ষিত হলেও একজনের দারা ধর্ষিত হতে চাই। তার একটা ছায়া বা আশ্রয় যেভাবেই হোক লাগবেই সমাজের এই কুকুর শিয়ালগুলোর থাবা থেকে নিজেকে বাঁচাতে হলে। কিন্তু এখন অবন্তীর অনেক বয়স হইয়া গিয়াছে, তাহার রূপের ঝলক ও আগের মত আর অতটা আলো বা আকর্ষণ ছড়ায় না।

কে তাহাকে এখন বিবাহ করিবে… যাহারা তাহার পছন্দের বা মানানসয় তাহারা সকলে নিজ নিজ ঘর সংসার সাজায়ে নিয়াছে। কি করিবে অবন্তী তাহা ভাবিতে লাগিল। এদিকে পরিস্থিতি আরও ভয়াবহ হয়তে লাগিল। ক্ষুধার্ত শেয়ালগুলো রাতের অন্ধকারে সরাসরি তার দরজায় জানালায় হানা দিতে শুরু করিল। শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী সেজে যারা সাহায্য করতে এগিয়ে আসিল তাহাদের চোখেও একটা কুদৃষ্টির আহবান সে লক্ষ্য করিল যদিও তাহাদের নিজ ঘরে বউ, সন্তান সন্তনি সবই আছে।

অবন্তীর মনে পড়িল যে অনেকেই তাহাকে জীবনটা নষ্ট করিতে বারন করিয়াছিল সাবধান করিয়াছিল কিন্তু এই নষ্ট যে কেমন নষ্ট, কি নষ্ট, কিভাবে নষ্ট, সে তা তখন বুঝে নাই। সে ভাবিয়াছিল যে তাহারা হয়তো শুধু বেঁচে থাকার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ধন সম্পদের কথাই বলিতেছে। কিন্তু এখন সে হাড়ে হাড়ে টের পাইতেছে যে তাকে নষ্ট করতে কত শত খেঁক শিয়াল ওঁত পেতে বাকে বাকে বসে আছে। অবন্তীর চোখ বেয়ে কয় ফোটা পানি ভূপাতিত হইল তাহা সে নিজেও লক্ষ্য করিল না।

অবশেষে, অবন্তী বিবাহ করিল একটা নিরাপদ আশ্রয় খুজিয়া পাইতে। তাহার বাড়ির পাশেই এক বকাটে শিয়াল ছিল যে নিজের জীবনের সবকিছু নষ্ট করিয়া ধুকিয়া ধুকিয়া মরিতেছিল। অবন্তী অতীত জীবনে তাহাকে দুচোখের সহ্য না করিতে পারিলেও, অবশেষে তাহাকেই বিবাহ করিয়া নিজেকে পাবলিক প্রোপার্টি হতে প্রাইভেট প্রোপার্টিতে পরিনত করিল।

এখন আর বাইরের কোন খেঁক শিয়াল অবন্তীর দ্বারে হানা দেয়না। এখন অবন্তীর ঘরের ভেতর একটা খেঁক শিয়াল তাকে ছিঁড়ে ছিঁড়ে খাই, সকাল বিকাল পেটাই, ভাঙে আর গড়ে। এখন অবন্তী বিবাহিত।  সে এখন তার স্বার্থপরতা, স্বেচ্ছাচারিতা, অসামাজকিতা,  গোঁয়ার্তুমি, বেয়াদবি, আর আমিত্ব ভাবের আগুনে আর কাওকে পোড়ায় না… এখন সে নিজে পুড়িতে থাকে সকাল দুপুর বিকাল রাত। আহা… অবন্তী !!!

নোটঃ সমাজে এই সব অবন্তীর জন্ম একদিনে হয় নাই। মূলত অবন্তীর জন্ম হয় পারিবারিক শিক্ষার অভাবে এবং সামাজিক শিক্ষার অভাবে। পৃথিবীর শুরুতে অবন্তীরা ছিল এবং বর্তমানে অবন্তীরা আছে ও ভবিষ্যতে থাকবে। শুধু শুধু হৃদয়ের অনলে পুড়ে ছাই হয়, কোমল হৃদয়।
