Humayun Faridi still loves Bengal. The spectacles used by Humayun Faridi donated to Corona were sold for = 3,25,012/- (3 lac 25 thousand 12) Taka.

 

An announced lockdown is underway across the country to stop the spread of the corona virus. Humayun Faridi's widely used spectacles were auctioned to stand by the victims of the disaster.

Although Humayun Faridi did not survive, the actor's daughter Shararat Islam participated in the auction on his behalf. The exceptional event was organized by a Facebook page called " Auction for Action". The auction of Humayun Faridi's spectacles was completed on Thursday (April 30-04, 2020) at 12 midnight on that Facebook page live.

Humayun Faridi was his favorite as an actor and his eloquence was very good. A Bengali expatriate living in Hungary bought the spectacles for = 3,25,012/- (3 lac 25 thousand 12) Taka. To keep Humayun Faridi as a memory of Sir.

The auction started at 11.00 pm. The minimum price of the spectacles was set at TK. 1 lac. Later, the glasses were sold for = 3,25,012/- (3 lac 25 thousand 12) Taka in an hour.

The buyer of the spectacles sold by Humayun Faridi or the winner of the auction kept his identity secret and the winner of the auction prayed that Humayun Faridi would be well on the other side. Because "the happiness of love is in the mind".

Many Bangladeshi actors participated in the auction of Humayun Faridi's spectacles, Such as: Afzal Hossain, Misha Saudagar, Afsana Mimi, Iresh Jaker, Saju Khadem and many others.

আজও ভালোবাসি বাংলাকে হুমায়ুন ফরীদি। করোনায় দানকৃত হুমায়ুন ফরীদির ব্যবহৃত চশমা বিক্রি হলো =৩,২৫,০১২/- (৩ লাখ ২৫ হাজার ১২)  টাকায়।

করোনা ভাইরাসের বিস্তার ঠেকাতে দেশব্যাপী চলছে ঘোষিত লকডাউন। এ দুর্যোগে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের পাশে দাঁড়াতে নিলামে তোলা হয়েছিলো নন্দিত অভিনেতা হুমায়ুন ফরীদির বহুল ব্যবহৃত চশমাটি।

হুমায়ুন ফরীদি বেঁচে না থাকলেও তাঁর হয়ে নিলামে অংশগ্রহণ করেন অভিনেতার মেয়ে শারারাত ইসলাম। ব্যতিক্রমী এ আয়োজনটি করেছিলেন ‘‘ অকশন ফর অ্যাকশন ’’ নামের একটি ফেসবুক পেইজ। বৃহস্পতিবার (৩০/০৪/২০২০ এপ্রিল) দিবাগত রাত ১২.০০ টায় ঐ ফেসবুক পেইজে লাইভে হুমায়ুন ফরীদির চশমার নিলামের কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন হয়।

হুমায়ুন ফরীদিকে অভিনয় শিল্পী হিসেবে তার প্রিয় ছিল এবং তার বাচন ভঙ্গী খুব ভালো লাগতো। হাঙ্গেরিতে বসবাসরত এক বাঙ্গালী প্রবাসী =৩,২৫,০১২/- (৩ লাখ ২৫ হাজার ১২)  টাকায় চশমাটি কিনে নিয়েছেন। হুমায়ুন ফরীদি স্যারের স্মৃতি হিসেবে রাখার জন্য।

রাত ১১.০০ টায় নিলামের কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়। চশমাটির সর্বনিম্ন মূল্য নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছিলো ১ লাখ টাকা। পরে এক ঘন্টার ব্যবধানে চশমাটি =৩,২৫,০১২/- (৩ লাখ ২৫ হাজার ১২) টাকায় বিক্রি হয়।

হুমায়ুন ফরীদির বিক্রিত চশমার ক্রেতা বা নিলামে জয়ী ব্যক্তি তার পরিচয় গোপন রাখেন এবং নিলাম জয়ী ব্যক্তি দোয়া করেন হুমায়ুন ফরীদি যেন ওপারে ভালো থাকে। কারণ ‘‘ ভালোবাসর সুখ মনে মন ’’।

হুমায়ুন ফরীদির চশমার নিলামে অংশগ্রহণ করেন বাংলাদেশের অনেক অভিনেতা যেমনঃ আফজাল হোসেন, মিশা সওদাগর, আফসানা মিমি, ইরেশ যাকের, সাজু খাদেমসহ অনেকেই।

নোটঃ আজ হুমায়ুন ফরীদি স্যার নাই, তবুও বাংলাদেশের চলচিত্র জগৎ চলছে, চলবে। তবে হুমায়ুন ফরীদির মত অভিনয় শিল্পী আর জন্ম গ্রহন করবে না। হুমায়ুন ফরীদি স্যার ছিলেন ক্ষণজন্মা।
