Mominul Islam, chairman of Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Company Association (BLFCA), an association of financial institutions in Bangladesh, bought the bracelet for 42 lakh Taka. The organizers started Facebook live session with Mashrafe around 11:45 pm Bangladesh time. Since then, prices have been increased only. 

The money from the sale of Mashrafe’s bracelet will be used to help people infected with the coronavirus and those in crisis. Earlier, Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan sold one of his bats for Rs 20 lakh at an auction to deal with coronavirus. 

Mushfiqur Rahim has sold his first double century bat in the Tests at auction for Rs 17 lakh. Besides, a few more stars of Bangladesh’s sports world have sold their favorite souvenirs at auction.
